About the role
Axoix is half agency, half product lab. You will ship client web apps on real timelines AND contribute to Axoix's own AI products — from prompt pipelines to model integrations to user-facing UI. Ownership from day one, founders within reach.
What you'll actually do
- Own features end-to-end — database, backend, API, frontend, deployment.
- Ship client projects (web apps, dashboards, internal tools, integrations) on real timelines.
- Contribute to Axoix's own AI products — prompt pipelines, model integrations, user-facing UI.
- Review your own work, write reasonable tests, deploy without hand-holding.
- Help a junior teammate (the designer, future devs) move faster.
Who we're looking for
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript — React or Next.js on the frontend.
- Comfortable building backends in Node.js (Express / Nest / Next API routes) or Python (FastAPI / Django).
- Solid with at least one SQL database (Postgres / MySQL) and one NoSQL (MongoDB / Firebase).
- Git, REST APIs, basic deployment (Vercel / Render / AWS / DigitalOcean).
- A portfolio or GitHub with 2-3 projects we can actually open and click through.
Nice to have
- Hands-on with LLM APIs — OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini — prompt engineering, RAG, vector DBs (Pinecone / Chroma / pgvector).
- Built something with AI agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or n8n / Make automations.
- Comfortable with Tailwind, shadcn/ui, or modern component design.
- DevOps basics — Docker, CI/CD, simple server management.
- Open-source contributions, side projects, or freelance shipped work.
